The artbook “Beksinski and others. Japan collection” (original title: „Kolekcja Japońska. Beksiński i inni”) has been published by Agra-Art Auction House in 2021. The book has hard cover and on 160 pages shows 62 color reproductions of oil paintings created by Zdzislaw Beksinski in 1970s, 1980s and 1990s.

Book includes also works of other Polish artists, that were part of Japanese Collection:

  • 10 paintings by Jerzy Duda-Gracz
  • 8 paintings by Jacek Yerka
  • 2 paintings by Marian Michalik
  • 6 of other artists.

Introduction to the artbook written by Tadeusz Nyczek, renown visual arts  curator and critic, expert on Beksinski work.


Japan Collection – a set of mostly Polish paintings acquired by Japanese collector in France and Poland in 1990 for the purpose to create Eastern Europe Art muzeum in Osaka (project never was completed). The collection was brought to Poland in 2018-2021 by Agra-Art Auction House. In 2021 an exhibition of Beksinski paintings from the collection was held in Warsaw (at Agra-Art Gallery).
