Ireneusz Piotrowski took a photo in front of the Moskwa cinema in Warsaw on the first day of martial law.
Piotrowski found the negative only 25 years later and in 2019 donated his archival photos from 1980–1981 to the collection of the European Solidarity Centre (ECS) in Gdańsk. Technique: black and white photography, paper | Dimensions: 48 x 53 cm
