ZM 1981.<\/p>\n<p>Origin:<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Collection of art historian Teresa Sowi\u0144ska, author of numerous publications and exhibitions, professionally associated with the Warsaw \u201eZach\u0119ta\u201c.<\/p>\n<p>The title quote is taken from William Butler Yeats&#039;s poem &quot;The Death of Cuchulain.&quot; It refers to the fate of the mythical Irish hero Cuchulain, who perished on the seashore, drowned by the waves\u2014punishment for the accidental death he inflicted on his son. W.B.
